Web Design and Social Media Marketing Services by Agency Couture
Chris is a great story teller, blogger and knowledgeable communicator. He offers people basic principals and epiphanies by stating what is right in front of you but not always obvious how it got there in the first place. I highly recommend checking out his book, speaking engagements and blog at ChrisBrogan.com
Now that you know all about Chris (because you visited his sites), let’s chat a little about Julien. He is a very technically savvy individual, who I think is equally as articulate as Chris but in a different style. Julien’s writing style is a little more educated, not that Chris’s writing isn’t educated he just writes a little more for the any man. I’ve been following Julien’s blog and other streams now for a few months. I love Julien’s candid take on technology, gadgets and social media. Plus every once in a while he adds in useless but fun geeky references and metaphors.

Regardless of your online status, whether you are a seasoned marketer or a n00b to the social media circuit you should buy the book Trust Agents or check it out at your local library. I recommend following it up by one of Seth Godin’s books or an organization book for business like GTD (get things done) or the 4 Hour Work Week.
“Sometimes it’s the daily progress that most of your competitors aren’t making that causes the biggest change. Having a goal helps that daily progress happen.” — Trust Agents by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith

You are going to make mistakes in life, sometimes accepting that fact is one of your biggest hurdles. Having a child doesn’t immediately make you the worlds greatest Dad, but showing up and caring sure helps. Being good at your job, winning a bet, or succeeded at your dream job all start with you showing up and being passionate to give life your all even if it keeps kicking you down. Sometimes we need those falls to put us back on the right track, learn a lesson or so that we can learn to build ourselves back up as better people than we started.
Show up. Make the effort. Learn from your mistakes. Set goals.
