In various levels of sport, there are cheerleaders that encourage the fans to root for their team. Even if the team has a losing season, they’re working to keep up the spirit of their team with the people in attendance. Some teams even get a mascot to entertain and build up excitement for the team and what they’re doing on the field or on the court.

In business, are you a cheerleader of your product or service?  Are you a cheerleader of your brand?  It’s easy to cheer and root for someone when they are winners or are an established team. It can be more challenging if the team isn’t doing so well or is new to the area. So what to do? It’s gut checking time. What are you made of?  What do you know about your product, what do you know and believe about your company? It’s heard to be positive and motivating in something that you’re not sure about yourself. So educate yourself, dig into resources about your product or service. Find out what makes your company and what you do different from the rest. If you’re a cheerleader of your company, what keeps you going, what motivates you to shout? I’m open to comments and getting feedback from you.

Testimonials

“Desarae was fresh out of college when we had her come join our team. She was hired out of a large pool of applicants because of her passion and desire to work in the business and learn from the team around her. She was more than willing to pitch in on anything and amazed me at her ability to fit in at all levels of the business. Her energy was second to none.” November 6, 2007
